Blue Dirt Community Mountain Bike Shuttles

Blue Dirt Mountain Biking have been awarded $5000 from the Community Fund Scheme to deliver free community shuttles, every Sunday between 12.00-4.00pm through the 2024-2025 summer. Falls Creek residents are encouraged to take up the chance to connect with each other and the mountain bike trails by dropping in to the Blue Dirt Cafe and showing proof of residency to hop on the shuttle. Each week, a minimum of 7 spaces are available for community members to utilise and this will be expanded to take more community riders if there is capacity on the day. You are also entitled to a free soft drink from the cafe. The Bogong High Plains Road landslip event caused disruption to business operators, such as Blue Dirt, who were not able to operate their service throughout the duration of October 2022 – April 2023. This project not only seeks to provide a chance for community connection and wellbeing support but also offer some economic support to an operator adversely impacted by the landslip.
