Falls Creek 2023/24 Summer Events Calendar Released
Our 2023/24 Summer Events Calendar has landed! This season's lineup is set to be the largest on record, with over 16 epic events ranging from the family friendly to the elite endurance, music and arts and the foodie’s favourites.
It all starts with Ignition
Leading the charge on the calendar is the Ignition MTB Festival, a celebration of the beginning of the Mountain Biking season with live bands, great food and let’s not forget the regions finest brews. This festival sets the tone for an epic season of riding bikes in the high country. Last summer saw the introduction of not just one, but three brand new world-class mountain bike trails in Falls Creek which are all ready to finally be shredded by summer guests!
FEASTIVAL is BACK!
FEASTIVAL 2022 firmly established Falls Creek as an incredible destination for a music and arts festival, leaving an imprint on over 2000 attendees ready to do it all over again! With much excitement, Falls Creek proudly announce the return of FEASTIVAL this February 16-18 – a celebration encompassing music, arts, culture, and the North East’s specialty- food and wine. If there's a reason to visit the high country this year, it's FEASTIVAL 2024. Line-up to be announced in the coming weeks.
From November 2023 right through to April 2024, it's all about adventure, sports, culture, food and wine spanning from the dragon boat regatta to fly fishing championships, from road cycling races to music and arts festivals. Hit up the hiking trails of the high country in the Alpine Challenge or Australia’s Grand Traverse. Each event on the calendar is an exciting celebrating of this truly unique environment and the adventure it comes with!
As well as this incredible line-up of events, the village will be buzzing with excitement this summer with fresh new mountain bike trails, Blue Dirt MTB shuttles operating every weekend from November to April and every day during the summer holidays, great places to eat and drink, outdoor guided experiences and of course the pristine alpine environment to explore.
