Falls Creek is nestled in an Alpine National Park, so we can’t have pets at the festival (you may see dogs around the Falls Creek village, but these are registered resort dogs with a valid permit).
Bring your energy, your family, friends and your festival spirit, but please leave the pups at home!
February is a spectacular time to visit Falls Creek, with sunny days, crisp alpine air, and cooler temperatures that keep you comfortable while exploring the village and festival activities.
That said, alpine weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for variable conditions and bring layers to stay warm and dry. Don’t forget — it can get cold after dark!
In the unlikely event of severe weather, all ticket holders will be contacted with updates.

We carefully curate a bunch of amazing local businesses to sell food and drinks at the festival! To support these local businesses, we have made FEASTIVAL Falls Creek a no BYO (alcohol and food) event.
We’re committed to keeping FEASTIVAL green! You’ll see reusable or compostable packaging across the site, refill water stations, and clear waste sorting points. Please bring a reusable bottle and help us keep the alpine environment clean.
At the main event, we ditch the disposable plastic and use BetterCups!
How does it work?
- With every Adult Ticket purchase, you'll receive a cup upon arrival.
- Simply swap your dirty cup for a clean one each time you get a drink.
- Lost your cup? Need another? No problem! Cups will be on sale from the merchandise stall.
- At the end of the event, take your BetterCup home and reuse it again and again!
Bring your reusables, use our waste sorting stations correctly, and respect the beautiful alpine environment. Every small effort helps us host a more sustainable event.
