Increased Wildlife Activity Around the Resort
August 16, 2024
As spring begins to unfold, our resort area is buzzing with abundant local wildlife. With the change in weather, animals are becoming more active, particularly during the high-traffic times of morning and evening. This increased activity makes it crucial for all road users to adhere to posted signs and respect the 40km/h speed limit within the resort.
Your cooperation is vital in protecting our local wildlife. Should you encounter any wildlife in need or experience an unfortunate accident, please contact the Emergency Response Line at 03 8400 7300, available 24/7. You can also report wildlife emergencies online at Wildlife Victoria - Report a Wildlife Emergency.
For additional assistance, our environmental team is trained in basic wildlife rescue. Please contact our Head Environment Officer Emily Sharp directly at 0461 435 857 or alternatively, the Visitor Experience Team at (03) 5758 1200 to have them notified for a response.
Let’s work together to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both road users and the local wildlife.
