Lift operations to end Friday 13th September

Our 2024 snow season is coming to an end.

Falls Creek Ski Lifts have announced that the last day for lift operations will be this Friday 13th of September 2024. In line with this decision, Alpine Resorts Victoria have declared the snow season will also end on this date.

The decision was an incredibly hard one to make and taking into account many factors with the priority focus on guest and staff safety and the major element no one can’t control – the weather.

Here at Falls Creek, we are proud to be able to provide a great skiing and boarding experience for visitors through to Friday, given the challenging weather conditions faced all winter.  We take our hat off to the incredible snowmaking and grooming teams that have worked tirelessly all winter to provide us with the terrain we got to explore in season 2024.

For visitors that have already booked accommodation in the next few weeks, please contact your accommodation provider directly, if they have not already made contact with you.

Falls Creek Ski Lifts have contacted those guests with lift tickets, lessons and rentals from the 14th of September onwards, so check your inbox.

For all vehicle resort entry permits purchased for the 14th of September 2024 onwards, you will be automatically refunded. If you have any queries regarding your resort entry permits please contact the Visitor Information Centre via [email protected] or call 03 5758 1200 (8am-5pm, Monday to Friday).

Don't despair! If you don't get the chance to made it up here for some last-minute turns on the snow this week just remember... the summer months are just as fun at Falls Creek.
