The AUS Open Championships is a National level event combined with the Continental Cup, with top level national and international competitors.

There is a Classic Sprint event on Saturday 27 July, and a Freestyle 15 kilometre distance event on Sunday 28 July. The races are suited for intermediate to advanced skiers of all ages, including masters skiers.
