Car Parking

Falls Creek is a unique alpine village with all facilities, including parking, available at the village. As the village roads are closed and covered in snow for much of the winter season, vehicles must have the appropriate permits and adhere to winter restrictions. For a majority of the summer months visitors can enter the village with their vehicles and park alongside accommodation.

Winter Overnight Parking

Visitors must have a pre-paid Resort Entry permit for their vehicle during this period and can only park in the designated overnight parking area at the base of the village. When entering Falls Creek, look for the ‘Overnight Parking Here’ sign and a member of staff will direct you to an overnight park (no self-parking). The Accommodation Transfer Service is available to assist in getting you to your accommodation.

Arriving Late to Falls Creek?

For arrivals outside of normal operation (i.e. 3am), vehicles may be parked in the After-Hours parking areas either below the Accommodation Transfer Terminal or above the CFA Station. This area is lit and signed. Visitors must return to their vehicle by 10:30am to move to a longer term parking area, per the above.

Winter Day Parking

Off-Peak Winter Parking (Dates TBC)

During the off-peak winter periods, visitors can access the village (subject to weather/snow conditions, village may be closed during this period) for 30 minutes to drop their luggage before parking in the overnight parks following the directions outlined in the ‘Winter Overnight Parking’ section. All vehicles are still required to pre-purchase a resort entry permit during the off-peak winter period.
