Regional Victoria Lockdown Eased
This morning the Victorian Premier announced the easing of restrictions for regional Victorians effective 11:59pm tonight (9th August).
We are extremely grateful to be able to welcome regional Victorian visitors and those from other states who satisfy the travel permit conditions back to Falls Creek Resort from Tuesday 10th of August. We a sad that Metro Melbourne residents are unable to visit the resort at this time but look forward to welcoming them back when it is safe to do so.

A table of restrictions has been release in line with the easing of restrictions for regional Victorian's.
* Please note it is strongly recommended that anyone travelling to an Alpine resort has a negative COVID-19 test in the 72 hours prior to entering the resort. *
** Season Permit Holders please ensure you REGISTER YOUR TRIP to the resort before leaving home **
We ask that you cooperate with any government directives to ensure that Falls Creek community is safe and our resort stays open and operating for the remainder of the snow season.

Metropolitan Melbourne Travel Restrictions
Melbourne residents who were sheltering in place (continued to stay) in regional Victoria at the commencement of the current lockdown action last Thursday night then they are able to either:
- Stay in place for the duration of the lockdown period (aka stay in Bright or Mt Beauty)
OR - Return home.
Melbourne residents are not able to travel freely around regional Victoria, including to alpine resorts.
If a visitors driver's license has a Melbourne address they should still be following the restrictions in place for Melbourne, wherever they are in the state.
That means following the 5 reasons to leave home and stay within a 5km radius from their accommodation.
Metropolitan Melbourne consists of the following Local Government Areas (LGAs):
Banyule, Bayside, Boroondara, Brimbank, Cardinia, Casey, Darebin, Frankston, Glen Eira, Greater Dandenong, Hobsons Bay, Hume, Kingston, Knox, Manningham, Maribyrnong, Maroondah, Melbourne, Melton, Monash, Moonee Valley, Moreland, Mornington Peninsula, Nillumbik, Port Phillip, Stonnington, Whitehorse, Whittlesea, Wyndham (except little River), Yarra, Yarra Ranges.

Ski Lift will operate! Falls Creek Ski Lifts have confirmed they will be operating again from Tuesday 10th of August. Keep an eye on the lift status to check out what will be running.

The Victorian Government have established a Travel Permit System which applies to any domestic travel into Victoria from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
From 11:59pm on 26 February 2021, travellers will need to apply for a permit to enter Victoria from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. Visitors can apply for a permit at the Service Victoria website.
