Falls Creek Ski Patrol invites expressions of interest for 2025 possible Trainee Ski Patroller positions.

It’s that time of year again. Falls Creek Ski Patrol is excited to invite advanced skiers interested in becoming a trainee ski patroller to attend the 2024 recruitment & ski test day.

 

Recruitment process

The ski test will take a couple of hours and will involve:

1. Fitness and traversing skills test.
2. Downhill skiing assessment.

 

Ski Test Day 2024

When: 10am, Sunday 18th August, meet at Ski Patrol Base between top of Eagle and Halley’s Comet chairlifts.

 

Basic requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with driver’s licence.
• Must be an advanced skier on all terrain and in any snow and weather conditions.
• Must have own lift pass and be prepared to sign waiver (all activities on the day are carried out at your own risk).

 

Note that an assessment will be made following the fitness test and traversing skills test, and only a limited number of candidates will progress to the downhill skiing assessment.

• Name.

• Skiing experience.
• First aid qualification and any relevant experience.
• Why you want to become a Ski Patroller.
