New this year, Ory’s Restaurant are sporting a divine contemporary menu, with some seriously creative cocktails! Make sure you get to Lakeside Lodge for dinner and drinks with a view before the end of January. From superb BBQ pub style meals at the Frying Pan Inn to excellent coffee and brunch at 1550 restaurant and more, there’s no shortage of great food and picturesque venues.
Dragon Boat Mile High Regatta 27th January
As the highest Dragon Boat event in Australia’s, Dragon Boat enthusiasts and keen spectators come from far and wide to compete and celebrate this unique event. Park up on the grassy bank for the day, food, drinks and plenty of entertainment will be available from the foreshore!
Victorian Enduro Tour 27th & 28th January
As far as village vibes go, the Victorian Enduro mountain bike riders bring the heat! This event is two days of Victoria’s best riders sending it through the world class mountain bike park. For an epic spectacle, come down for the ‘Urban Stage’ race which see’s riders drop through buildings and village features while onlooker’s get the best view of the action. Catch live DJ and finish with a drink in the Slalom Plaza after the race!
FEASTIVAL Falls Creek – February 16th -18th
Falls Creek is bringing music to the mountains with the second ever FEASTIVAL Falls Creek- a 3 day celebration of music, art, comedy, food and beverages in the heart of the Victorian Alps.
On Saturday the 17th of February the Slalom Plaza welcomes some huge names to the stage including aussie icons The Temper Trap, Thelma Plum and Holy Holy, plus a big line-up of local and internationally renowned supporting music acts.
Prepare to be blown away as this alpine hub comes to life. Food, beer, wine and spirits supplied from North Eastern favourites like Bright Brewery, Pizzini, Billson’s, Falls Creek Gin Distillery, The Frying Pan Inn, Tawonga Butcher, Kitchen 95 and more! BYO camp chairs, picnic rugs and kick back for a magic afternoon of music.
This event is surrounded by comedy gigs, wellness sessions, maker’s markets, guided walks, arts workshops, food and wine events, art installations and exhibitions! Check out the full program here.
