Falls Creek launches into an action packed summer

We're looking forward to an eventful summer here at Falls Creek, with a great range of events for those who love the great outdoors and challenging themselves.

Here's a wrap-up of what's on: 

It all kicks off with the Ignition Mountain Bike Festival on Friday 19 - Sunday 21 November which is the weekend we officially open the MTB trails at Falls Creek and a huge celebration of all things MTB.

Blue Dirt Mountain Biking are running shuttles on weekends from 19 November 2021 - 17 April 2022, and every day from 27 December 2021 - 30 January 2022. Check out all the details here. 

The school holidays sees the village buzzing with activity as families come up to the hills to enjoy their summer holidays at altitude.

After the holidays, we start to see the competition ramp up with some awesome cycling events for adults and children alike. The Round 6 of the Vic XCO Series takes place around the mountain and in the village and is a great event to watch (or participate in!)

There's the Victorian Enduro Tour on 5-6 February 2022, which sees the village set as the stage for mountain bikers to show off their skills and speed through the village and on the high plains.

We're excited to welcome the inaugural FEASTIVAL Falls Creek event to the calendar in February 2022, it's going to be a lively mix of music, art, comedy and great food.

The Peaks Challenge on Sunday 13 March isn't for the faint of heart or the weary of leg, with a 235km loop taking in some of the best views of the high country.

The Falls Creek Long Lunch on Friday 18 March is a highlight on the Falls Creek social calendar, it's a very special occasion where you can enjoy a fabulous lunch at altitude. Tickets sell like hotcakes for this event so make sure you move quick if you want to attend.

As the days become slightly longer and cooler, we welcome guests for the family-friendly Easter Festival which takes place in the Village Bowl. It's a great weekend to visit Falls Creek - there's an amazing vibe in the village as people come together to celebrate with friends and family.
